Thank You

Another year of living celebrated with new friends. This year was definitely a tough one from me, but we made it. I just wanted to thank everyone that made my birthday so memorable, but I at the same time I wished I was able to spend it with everyone that mean alot to me. Hopefully things will get better and that I get going on the right track.

So for my birthday, since I didn't get any presents from anyone (haha) I decided to get myself a Tokina 11-16f2.8. It's a big purchase but it was definitely well worth the money. Here is a self portrait using that 11-16.

Jade

This is Jade, I had to take a photo of her million dollar smile.

Enjoy

Rock and Roll

Got bored so I went out with the camera, here's a quick shot of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I have yet to visit the inside of the museum, though I've heard there isn't much to see. Enjoy

Louis Vuitton

These are the new Louis Vuitton Sunlight Sneakers that's being introduced this winter. When I first saw them I was immediately was surprised how simple and clean they look. This is something that will get you noticed but for all the right reasons. It's not over the top, screaming for attention, but rather it screams enough that anyone who knows their stuff will immediately recognize what your rockin on your feet.

Hermès x Leica

As soon as I saw this, I immediately smiled. I'm super excited about this for reasons I can't explain.

What your looking at is a super exclusive camera the - Leica M7 "Hermes".
Yes, Hermès x Leica
Now if you anything about these two companies, you can already imagine how much this camera is going to cost. So if you have to ask, well you simply can't afford it.
But in case you live under a rock and have never heard of Hermès or Leica here's a quick history lesson.

Hermès: is a french fashion house that specializes in luxury goods. Known for its prestigious quality, reputation and price, owning a piece from Hermès means you don't ever ask how much anything is.

Leica: german company that brings nothing but top notch quality to each camera it makes. Owning a Leica means you love classic styling and that your idol is mostly likely James Bond.

This is the Leica M7 Hermès edition. It comes in either orange and etoupe calfskin leather, with a serial number reading from 001/200 - 200/200. Yes, you read it right, only 200 of these will be made.
The camera will come with a Leica Summilux - M 35 mm f/1.4 lens, and also a leather carrying strap for when you want to use the camera as a fashion accessory piece.
The M7 Hermès edition goes on sale December in the UK, oh and bring your black card or lots of $20 rolled with rubber bands, because suggested retail price is GBP8,550 = $14,276.82

Manny Pacquiao 7

On November 14th 2009 Manny Pacquiao made history, by defeating Miguel Cotto in the 12th round via TKO. He now has 7 titles in 7 different weight divisions. Pacquiao definitely has earned a spot amongst boxing's greatest fighters to have ever lived, he will undoubtedly be the greatest Filipino athlete to have ever lived, and will forever be loved by his fellow country men. Because, not only did Pacquiao win victory for himself, but he also won for millions and millions of Filipino's throughout the world.

Off topic:

#1. A few months ago I blogged about Nike's "lights out" shoe, that was in honor of Pacquiao's victory over Ricky Hatton. Now I wonder what Nike will come out with in celebration of Pacquiao's historic victory. 7titles 7divisions

#2. I'm guessing that early this week, the promoters for Pacquiao and Mayweather will be busy on the phone setting up for the fight the world wants to see. Mayweather will undoubtedly want a bigger split of the money, but with this victory Pacquiao definitely deserves a 50/50 split.

Whatever fight Pacquiao decides to face next, I just hope its not in the political arena. Because as much as I love Pacquiao, he's a boxer and should stay as a boxer.
